A build is a loop, not six famous items. Match cores, set bonuses, talents, weapons, attributes, and skills to one job.
Zones and missions rotate bonus categories. Summit and Countdown let you choose one. This improves odds; it does not guarantee an exact item.
Extract rolls and talents into a permanent library. A piece normally gets only one changed slot, so the other rolls must already be right.
Raise rolls already on a good item. Optimization cannot turn the wrong attributes into the right ones.
Proficiency across items raises account Expertise; upgrades add incremental power. It is a long-term sink, not a build foundation.
Higher difficulty helps only when clears stay efficient. Farm the highest setting your build handles consistently.
