September 24, 2026: Echoes date, Survivors tests

Echoes of Central Park gets its release date, November 3, at a dedicated showcase: Upper West Side and Central Park, three companions, a new endgame loop where you start as the hunted, six skill variants, the Ratel exotic and a new gear set. Pre-orders include the NY Purifier Mask.
The Division 2: Survivors opens sign-ups for its upcoming tests.
Red Moon Rising starts in the PvE Dark Zone (runs to November 3), with Twitch drops from September 24 to October 6.

New event: Red Moon Rising (Sep 24 – Nov 3), with the Vertigo and Sarru exotics and the Recruiter's mask.
Scheduled events: Dark Zone Surge (Sep 22–29), Rage Harvest and Deadeye Overdrive (Sep 29 – Oct 6), Countdown Surge (Oct 6–13).
PvP balance for Prototype augments, gear and brand set bonuses, talents, exotics and skills.
Modular Plates reworked into strong shield regeneration; Signed, Shield, Delivered now refills your magazine when activated.
Zodiac Legacy Climax Mission: fixed starting Munitions and Canisters, and more drops during the mission.
Ember Engine's talent no longer triggers through Pulse in PvP. Prima Donna and Steel & Sons ACR reconfiguration blueprints added to Inaya (with a known duplication issue).
The Retaliation Project Chain returns for a week from Sep 24 with hourly unlocks.
Fixes include self-destroyed skills triggering kill talents, a Prima Donna instant-revive exploit in PvP, Adrenaline Rush, Bloodsucker and Clutch misbehaving in PvP, hit registration against moving enemies at high latency, and Xbox players failing to join friends.

Year 8 Season 3 goes live: the Cleaners and the 95 Company in D.C., the Under Pressure modifier, and the District Mall Inferno Classified Assignment.
The Blackout Dark Zone joins the rotation, and the Toxic Dark Zone becomes permanent.
New: the Fafnir exotic shotgun, Iron Will exotic chest, Ember Engine gear set and six named items. Determined nerfed; Steel & Sons ACR buffed.
Red-core gear sets rebalanced; brand set bonuses reorganized.
PvP stats shown in the inventory, and PvP settings added to the Shooting Range.

Season 4 teased: the Black Tusk return, a Prototype Gear rework, and Escalation changes.

The Broken Rain Incursion launches (Steel Creek Dam, four players, level 40, matchmaking).
A Broken Rain event pass ran until August 25, with JTF outfits, Outfit Tokens and three complete loadouts on the free track. The loadouts are listed on the builds page.
