Data and sources
Last checked October 6, 2026, against the development notes Blizzard updated on October 1. The talent trees and meta builds match the October 1 build; the tier lists are still Wowhead's level-20 rankings until Wowhead publishes level-30 lists. Forever is still in beta, so every fact on this site carries one of four labels.
- Blizzard Confirmed
- Stated by Blizzard in an official article, panel recap or development notes post.
- Beta Data
- Read from the current beta client. It's real game data, but Blizzard changes it build to build.
- Press Report
- Reported by games press (for example, details from the BlizzCon roadmap slide) without a Blizzard article saying it yet.
- Not Yet Known
- Nobody outside Blizzard knows yet. Left blank rather than guessed.
How the talent trees were checked
The 27 trees in the planner (names, positions, ranks, prerequisites and per-rank values) are the October 1 beta build's talent data as used by Icy Veins' WoW Forever talent calculator, read on October 6. Only the game data is used; the planner's code and layout are CGN's own. The first version (September 24 build) came from Wowhead's datamined calculator.
Before publishing, the data was checked against Blizzard's October 1 development notes, and every change Blizzard listed for the trees matches: the Fury rework (Lingering Rage, Furious Precision and Gore Drinker are new, and Flurry now needs Death Wish), Iron Will moving to the top of Protection and Toughness leaving it, Shifting Power replacing King of the Jungle in Feral, Hot Streak becoming Heating Up, Soul Harvesting becoming Soul Harvest, Redoubt at 4 to 20%, Holy Shield at 30%, and Champion of the Light at 20/40/60%. A few beta tooltips show placeholder values (Shifting Power's mana cost shows as 0); those use a short CGN description instead and say so.
Talents Blizzard has named and described itself are marked Blizzard Confirmed in their tooltips. Everything else is marked Beta Data. Share links from the old pre-beta planner don't load, because those trees were never Forever's. Warrior and Druid links made before October 6 start fresh, because those trees changed shape.
The Legacy perk values come from the same kind of beta data (build 1.60.1.69800). The perk names, the 16-point cap, the challenge list and the rewards are from Blizzard's September 23 article.

What refreshes by itself
Official posts on the home page come from Blizzard's own staff-post feed on the World of Warcraft forums, refreshed every 20 minutes and cached on this site. Only posts that start a new topic are shown, and Forever posts are listed first.
Service status comes from Blizzard's official WoW status page. If either feed is down, the site says so and links you to Blizzard directly instead of showing old items as current.
Tier lists are checked by hand against Wowhead's pages and then validated before they go up; nothing on this site downloads Wowhead's pages automatically. The tier page watches Blizzard's staff-post feed on its own, though: if Blizzard posts Forever class changes after the tier list was last updated, the page says so.
Left blank on purpose
- Dungeon and raid bosses: Blizzard has given raid boss counts (8 and 13) but no names, and no boss lists for any of the nine dungeons.
- Level ranges for the seven dungeons that aren't in the beta yet.
- The level 60 talent meta. The beta is capped at level 30, so there are no recommended endgame builds yet.
- Hardcore's date, and exact dates for the 2027 updates.
- The raid legendary Blizzard has teased but not revealed.
Artwork on this site is original CGN work in Forever's color palette. Blizzard's own screenshots and key art aren't used because their reuse rights on a fan site aren't clear.
