Getting help
- Bugs and feedback: the developers are most active on the official Discord ↗, and also read the Steam discussions ↗.
- Toxic players: report them in game. Since April 24 reports go straight to the admins, and global ban and mute lists update in real time. There's a published code of conduct.
- Patch notes: Steam news ↗, or our update log.
Common questions
Quick Match puts me on a laggy server
Since hotfix USA.4, Quick Match skips official servers with more than 160 ms ping and falls back to nearby community servers. A quieter nearby server is preferred over a full one far away. You can always pick a server yourself in the browser.
Why can't I find the hardcore servers in Quick Match?
They're test servers and are left out of Quick Match on purpose. Pick them in the server browser. See the hardcore rules.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Singleplayer against bots works on any map, and Persistent Battles runs the whole campaign offline with saves.
Does it work with a controller or on Steam Deck?
Controller support has had several rounds of fixes since July, including aim assist and movement handling, and trackpad and mouse input on Steam Deck were improved. More controller work is promised with Iron Tides.
Do I have to pay for the U.S. army?
No. The U.S. Expeditionary Forces update is free for everyone who owns the game. Only the Harlem Hellfighters uniform pack costs extra.
Is there a campaign?
Yes: a multiplayer Campaign where players vote on which territory to attack, and an offline version called Persistent Battles. See maps and modes.
Can I make my own maps?
Yes. There's a full map editor, and maps are shared on the Steam Workshop. Some community maps have been added to the official rotation.
