How an Expedition works

Expeditions are personal progression you complete in order. Build the Caravan any time after your previous Expedition (or right away if it's your first), then sign up and finish the challenge during an Expedition window to get the rewards. Your character departs, and you start over with lasting bonuses.

What changed for Expedition 5

Quest resets are optional: you can keep your quest progress. If you do, the Hullcracker blueprint (normally quest-only) comes from other sources. The window grew from two weeks to three, and there's no Last Call.

Rewards

The complete Zenith Outfit, mystery rewards, and +12 stash space (up to 60). Bonus skill points from Expeditions cap at 15, with catch-up for missed points (tied to stash value) from your second Expedition on. The consecutive buffs (XP, Scrappy materials, repair value) cap at three levels.

After September 29

Expeditions pause while Embark reworks departure windows, rewards and new-player access. Your consecutive buffs persist during the pause. Caravans reset, and partly finished ones turn into Ermal Vouchers of equal value, which you can spend on Ermal's offers or sell for Coin.

BEFORE YOU COMMIT

What resets and what stays

Raider progression resets

Expedition is built around resetting Raider-level progression such as level, skills and inventory after completing the caravan process.

Account progress stays

Account-level cosmetics, achievements and real-money account items are preserved.

Why people do it

Successful Expeditions provide persistent and temporary advantages, with the final Expedition Window adding a challenge for bonus Skill Points.

Expedition dates and rule details are live-service information. Check the current in-game Project panel or official ARC Raiders update before committing resources.
