About Crogin's Rotation Buddy

What CRB is for

Once CRB is released, a new player should be able to get it, install it and understand what to press next without outside help, and an experienced player should be able to see exactly how its lists are built. That is the whole idea. CRB is in development and private testing now, and has not been publicly released.

CRB is built for WoW: Forever only. Its rules and data are written for that game, from Forever's own spell data and published Forever class guides. The site and the addon aim to tell the same truth: if CRB does not do something yet, this site does not say it does.

CRB focuses on rotation guidance, authored sequences, combat-aware recommendations and player execution: it shows what to do and you press the key. It is not trying to replace every other macro or rotation tool.

Who makes it

Crogin's Rotation Buddy is written and maintained by Crogin. The Crogin Gaming Network hosts this site, and the WoW: Forever guide covers the wider game.

Libraries in the addon

CRB embeds small, general-purpose WoW UI libraries. They sit in the addon's Libs folder, are unmodified and contain no rotation logic. Each keeps its own licence.

• LibStub, CallbackHandler-1.0, LibDataBroker-1.1 and LibDBIcon-1.0
• LibSharedMedia-3.0
• LibCustomGlow-1.0

Artwork

The panels, buttons, icons and controller button pictures in the addon, and the CRB mark, are original CRB artwork. The controller pictures are CRB's own generic ones, not any manufacturer's.
