Checking CRB in the game
The /crb verify commands for testing the researched rules yourself.
Several rules in CRB were researched, not measured. The /crb verify commands turn each open question into something you can read in chat. They only read: they never change what CRB does.
| Command | What it checks |
|---|---|
/crb verify | A checklist of what has been measured so far. |
/crb verify duration rend | The real length of an effect on your target or on you, against what CRB expects. |
/crb verify combo | Finisher lengths per combo point (Rupture, Slice and Dice). |
/crb verify stance | Each listed stance or form need against what the game says in your current stance. |
/crb verify names mangle | Which names and spell ids the game accepts, and the exact /cast lines to try. |
/crb verify ids | Spells that exist under two ids: which one your character has. |
/crb verify target | The target rules against the game, plus what your casts have shown. |
/crb verify heals | Which heal ranks you know and whether a rank can be named. |
/crb verify share | Whether the game can turn a table into a short text and back. |
/crb verify log | Your recent casts, failures and the game's messages with the target they were on. |
/crb verify reset | Clears the log and the records. |
The log of your own casts and the game's error messages is kept in your saved settings. It holds spell names and creature types, nothing else, so it survives /reload.
Using it for a report
If you find a rule that is wrong, run the matching command, copy what it prints, and include it in your report. It is the most useful thing you can send.
