Using CRB
Levels, ranks and what CRB filters
How CRB uses your level, talents, learned spells and spell ranks.
What CRB looks at
- Your class, which it detects automatically.
- Your level. Levels 1 to 9 use the class leveling profile.
- From level 10, your talent points. CRB picks your main tree. Hybrid builds use the talents you have learned to pick the most useful profile.
- The spells you have actually learned. Every recommendation is filtered against them.
Spell ranks
A spell is not one set of numbers: Rend lasts 9 seconds at rank 1 and 18 at rank 4, Frostbolt casts faster at rank 1 than at rank 5, and a heal costs more at every rank. CRB works with the exact rank you have learned. The recommendation, the damage-over-time and heal-over-time timers, the cooldown tracking, the Next row and Learning mode all use that rank's own numbers.
Where the game reports a number itself (cast time, cooldown, cost, rank), the game's number wins. The rest comes from a table of every rank. A length CRB has measured on your own damage-over-time effects is remembered too.
Rank data is new and not yet checked in the game itself. The table comes from published spell data, not from the game, and no row has been confirmed in play yet. /crb ranks shows, for each spell you know, which rank CRB is using, the numbers and where they came from.
Reading /crb ranks
[unverified]means only the table was consulted.[confirmed]means the game (or a length CRB measured) agreed with the table.- A red
[CONFLICT]line means the game or a measurement disagreed. The line says which side CRB used. /crb ranks conflictsshows only those,/crb ranks exportprints one plain line per spell to paste into a report, and/crb ranks resetforgets measured lengths.
On this website
The rotation pages show the levels at which spells are listed as learnable in published Forever spell data (read October 9, 2026). That is not the same as having the spell: talent spells depend on talent points, and a few spells are listed above level 30. The site marks both cases. Your own character is always the final word, which is why CRB checks your spellbook.
