Beta features
Sequence Mode
Follow a CRB sequence: how it is built, how CRB tracks it and how to share one.
Sequence Mode is in beta, in development and private testing. Nothing about it has been confirmed in the game yet.
Sequence Mode is for players who want a predictable, authored rotation path. A sequence is a list of spells in the order you want them. CRB tracks where you are in it and shows the current and the upcoming action. You press the ability with your normal spell keybind or control. CRB does not cast for you, and it does not turn one key into a rotation.
If you would rather have CRB look at the fight and recommend the next spell, use the Rotation Helper instead. Both are explained on the Sequences page.
The editor, simple first
Open Control Center, then Sequences.
- Name it and pick how CRB walks the list: One by one uses each spell in order and then starts again. Priority favors the spells near the top.
- Add a spell. It opens your spellbook with the spells you have learned, a search box and a tick for spells you have not learned yet. Nobody has to know a spell id.
- Save. A preview card shows the steps in order.
Blocks
| Block | What it does |
|---|---|
| Spell | One spell, with options for rank, target, form or stance, combat and stealth under Advanced. |
| Cast Sequence | A numbered list of spells taken one step at a time, in order. |
| Repeat Group | Runs the spells inside it through the number of times you set. It counts as one item of the list around it. |
| Condition | The spells inside only count when, say, an enemy is selected, you are in combat or you are in a form. |
Groups inside groups are numbered (2.1, 2.2) and nest up to four levels. A list holds up to 24 blocks and a rotation up to 200. Blocks can be dragged or moved from a menu, and every change can be undone and redone. Leaving with unsaved changes asks whether to save, discard or keep editing.
How often
Under Advanced options every block has a "How often should CRB try this?" setting: Often (every round), Normal (every 2nd round), Sometimes (every 4th) and Rarely (every 8th). A round is one trip through the list. It counts rounds, never seconds.
Following a sequence
CRB shows the current action and what comes next, with the key you have set for that spell if there is one. Cast it the way you always do. A sequence follows the order it was written in. For a recommendation that reacts to the fight as it happens, use the Rotation Helper.
Sharing
On the Share tab, Share this rotation makes one line of text that starts with !CRB!. To import, paste it, press Check rotation to see its name, author and number of blocks, then press Import. Nothing is saved before you press Import. If you already have that rotation you can keep yours, replace it (the previous version can be restored) or import it as a copy. The text is only ever read as data, checked against fixed limits and a list of allowed fields. An imported rotation keeps its original author.
How it stays within the rules
Sequence Mode only shows you what to do. It does not press keys, cast spells or change any protected button, and every ability is your own key press or click. See how CRB stays within the game's rules.
