Understanding the card

What each part of the Do This Now card tells you, and the three detail levels.

The main card answers the questions a player actually has: what do I press now, why, and what comes after.

The parts of the card

  • The header word tells you the situation: DO THIS NOW, KEEP IT UP, PROC - USE NOW, COMING UP, HEAL NOW, HOLD or SELECT A TARGET.
  • The chips beside it show the mode (for example ST or AoE), your role and the key.
  • The big icon and spell name are the recommendation. If you have assigned a key to that spell, it shows as a badge.
  • The reason is a plain-English line, such as which spell is ready or why you should refresh something.
  • The Next row shows up to four small icons for the spells that follow. It lists only spells you can use right now.
  • The footer names your class, spec, level and, if you have one, your form or stance. For example, Druid, Restoration, Lv12, Cat.

Urgent and critical heals get a steady ring, or a gentle glow if motion is on. Calm states stay quiet. Colour is never the only signal: words and symbols always say the same thing.

Layouts

Detail levels

Detail levels
LevelWhat you see
SimpleThe big spell and its key. Nothing else.
SmartThe spell, why, and what is next. This is the default.
LearningEverything in Smart plus the full reason, which helps when you are learning a class. Hover the main icon to see which spells were passed over and why.

Test Mode

Test Mode previews enemy, friendly, critical heal, proc, cooldown, hold and radar situations with simulated data. Everything in Test Mode is clearly marked TEST, so you can see each look without waiting for it in a fight.
