Season 26: Beware the Blood Moon
From Sep 15, 2026
Seasons run alongside each update. Challenges and ordinary play earn S.C.O.R.E.; each rank gives Tickets, which you spend on rewards in the Seasons menu. Unused Tickets turn into Gold Bullion when the next season starts.
Season 26 rewards are horror themed. Bethesda has named the Batty Skirt, Blood Moon Power Armor Paint, the Creepy Cultist Well and the Blood Moon Weather Control Station. Bethesda said that from this season on, rewards would be fewer recolors and more new, update-themed items.
End date: not announced. Bethesda's community calendar puts World Pets and Season 27 in December.
Fallout 1st and seasons
Fallout 1st includes a Fallout 1st Seasons Pass; in recent seasons that meant extra rewards and a S.C.O.R.E. boost. S.C.O.R.E. is earned in Adventure and Private Adventure, not in Custom Worlds. What else Fallout 1st includes.
Mini Seasons
Short Mini Seasons, like February's Love Hurts, start by claiming a free item in the Seasons menu, then run on challenges and tickets. Love Hurts ran for two weeks.
Legacy Seasons
New with The Slasher
- One past season runs next to the current season, for the whole season.
- Both use the same Tickets. There is no new currency, and you choose where to spend.
- Legacy rewards unlock in order; the current season keeps its normal board.
- Rewards you claimed first time round, or bought in the Atomic Shop, are already marked as claimed. A few new rewards were added.
- The original game boards are not rewards, and there is no bonus page yet.
- Seasons rotate, so a Legacy Season will come back, but maybe not for a while.

Now: Season 4
Armor Ace and the Power Patrol in Cold Steel runs for all of Season 26.
Next: Season 10
Red Rocket "Across America" Presents: The City of Steel, chosen by a community vote, arrives with the Winter update.

What Bethesda says is coming
Letter from the Directors, Sep 30, 2026
Creative Director Jon Rush and Production Director Bill LaCoste describe the plan from now into summer 2027. Only December has a month attached; "next spring" and "next year" are Bethesda's words, not dates, and plans can change.
| When | What | What Bethesda says |
|---|---|---|
| December 2026 | World Pets | Every C.A.M.P. Pet can come out into the world with you and gets more capable as it levels up beside you. Pet interactions carry over, with new options for Stay, Follow, Protect and Kill. Bethesda's calendar pairs it with Season 27. |
| Winter | Skyline Valley and Bounty Hunting | Players revisit Skyline Valley with their pets, and Bounty Hunting comes to Skyline Valley. |
| Next spring | Hideouts | Camps home to the worst criminals in the Wasteland, harder than current bounties and a step between the early endgame and Raids, with a new "Marked" difficulty for the best rewards. A rival bounty hunter called The Drifter tries to eliminate the competition. |
| Next year | Raven Rock | The map expands toward the Capital Wasteland, almost 200 years before the events of Fallout 3, around a cold war between two derelict Enclave operators. No season is given. |
| Along the way | Improvements | Work on Seasonal Events, rendering, weather, the new player experience and fishing. New seasonal fish keep arriving, and Bethesda hints at a gold Axolotl. |
