Blizzard surveyed players about possible ideas. This is not a roadmap and none of these classes are confirmed for release. CGN has found no Blizzard statement about them. Everything below is a press report of what players said they saw.

What was reported
- Kotaku reported on September 30 that several people playing the beta said they saw a survey pop-up in the Battle.net launcher in the preceding week.
- Sharing screenshots of the survey was reportedly forbidden, so there is no visual proof. Kotaku's writer did not see it herself, though other players confirmed the same list.
- The class descriptions come from text one poster claimed to have extracted, which Kotaku summarized. MassivelyOP and Icy Veins also covered it.
- The same reports say the class names changed between survey versions, and that the survey warned some concepts might not be under consideration.

How to read this
- A survey is not a roadmap. Companies test ideas they may never build. Kotaku itself says nobody knows how serious Blizzard is about adding any class.
- Blizzard's roadmap lists no new classes. Its stated plans are raids, dungeons, PvP season refreshes, world content, a legendary questline and Hardcore. See the roadmap.
- What Blizzard has said about growth: it plans more race and class combinations in future updates, not new classes.
- Forever has nine classes. The class pages cover those nine only.
