Patch 3.2.2 (build 73764), dated September 30, 2026, is the current patch. It only fixes bugs for Season 15. Blizzard's patch-notes page now carries it as the latest patch, and gaming outlets reported it live that day. Everything below marked Live is in the game now.

  1. Patch 3.2.2: bug fixes for Season 15

    A fix-only patch dated September 30, 2026. Blizzard's patch-notes page now carries these notes as the latest patch, and gaming outlets reported it live that day. We confirmed this on October 5.

    • Season 15 questline: fixes a blocker when the portal to the Worldstone Chamber is entered too quickly, and missing rewards from the Chamber of Bone.
    • Runewords: fixes the Edge Runeword granting two items at a time from the Purveyor of Curiosities, and the Lore Runeword helm turning invisible.
    • Items and classes: Henri's Perquisition can now be crafted as a Unique Charm in the Horadric Cube; Druid Pulverize no longer locks a Staggered boss in place; the Sol rune's damage reduction now triggers when expected; the Sorcerer Incinerate Enchantment now triggers the Tal rune.
    • Interface: the Horadric Post can be used while mounted; the Tower's Artificer's Obelisk shows a rewards icon on the map.

  2. Season 15, Season of Hell's Legacy, and patch 3.2.1

    A 30th-anniversary season: a Deckard Cain questline against the three Prime Evils, Waking Nightmares, Soul Splinters, and nine Legacy Uniques that stay in the game.

    • Season only: the Prime Evil questline and Splinters of Evil, Waking Nightmares, Soul Splinters, Season Rank and Season Blessings.
    • Permanent: the nine Legacy Uniques, shared War Plans progress across characters, Rebirth, the Horadric Post, new Horadric Cube recipes and Mythic Unique crafting changes.
    • Balance and economy: higher Legendary drop rates in Torment I to V, cheaper gem and enchant costs, richer Whisper caches, more experience from War Plans, the Pit and high Torment tiers, and class tuning (notably Barbarian reductions).
    • Expert and Penitent now unlock after the Prologue instead of after the campaign.

  3. BlizzCon 2026: Amazon class pack, Switch 2, and Diablo V

    Blizzard announced the Amazon class pack for the first half of 2027, the Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection on Nintendo Switch 2 (September 15), a Diablo animated series with Netflix, and Diablo V for Spring 2029.

    • Amazon: female-only class from Skovos with four archetypes (Champion, Skirmisher, Ranger, Commander) and a new javelin weapon type alongside the bow. Class Pack pricing and details come closer to release. Not playable today.
    • Blizzard also said future seasons will continue the dead-returning storyline and keep refining War Plans, itemization and customization.

  4. Patch 3.1 and Season 14, Season of Death Awakening

    The season that began the storyline Season 15 continues: Death Cults, Pandemonium Rifts, the Tower and Leaderboards, and a free Warlock trial.

    • Blizzard's 3.1 PTR post highlighted the return of Realmwalkers and a reworked Mythic Unique system.
    • War Plans progress from Season 14 carried over to Eternal characters when Season 15 began.

  5. Lord of Hatred and Season 13, Season of Reckoning

    The second expansion, plus the largest rework of the base game: level 70, Torment I to XII, redesigned skill trees, the Loot Filter, and new endgame systems.

    • Expansion (Lord of Hatred required): Paladin and Warlock, the Skovos region and Temis hub, the Mephisto campaign, War Plans, Echoing Hatred, the Horadric Cube, the Talisman, and Fishing.
    • Everyone: level cap 70, Torment through XII, reworked skill trees, the Loot Filter, Map Overlay and Pathfinder, and itemization changes.
    • Season 13 had no seasonal storyline. It carried Season Rank, Season Blessings and the Tower and Leaderboards while the new systems settled.

  • Season 15 end date
    Not announced. We will not guess one.
  • Future seasons
    Blizzard says they continue the Season of Death Awakening storyline of the dead returning and the Cult of the Dead, with further work on War Plans (playlist customization and seasonal variety) and on itemization and customization.
  • The Amazon Future, not playable
    A Class Pack for the first half of 2027. Pricing and purchase details come closer to release. More on the Amazon
  • Nintendo Switch 2
    Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection released on September 15, 2026, bundling the base game and both expansions.
  • Diablo V
    Announced for Spring 2029. A separate game; nothing about it changes Diablo IV today.
