Talisman · Lord of Hatred

Talisman, Charms and sets

The Talisman is a second gear system beside your equipment. A Seal opens up to six Charm slots; Charms add affixes, set bonuses and even Unique powers. It is where set bonuses came to Diablo IV.

Lord of Hatred

Checked September 29, 2026 · patch 3.2.2 · Season 15

An ornate brass talisman with a glowing red gemstone at its center rests on red cloth among candles, old books and chains.

Getting and improving Charms

Where they come from

  • Drops from chests, Elites and endgame activities. War Plans reward Talisman items directly.
  • Kurast Undercity Tributes of the Horadrim give Horadric Charms and Seals.
  • The Horadric Cube can turn a Unique into a Unique Charm.
  • In Season 15, Mythic Charms have a small chance to drop whenever a Unique Charm drops.

How to improve them

  • Reroll Set Charm swaps a Set Charm for another from the same set.
  • Affix Value Reroll and Horadric Reroll (new in Season 15) reroll base affixes on Charms and Seals without touching set bonuses or Unique powers.
  • Salvaging Charms and Seals yields Infused Horadric Resin, which many Talisman recipes use.

Season 15 Charm changes

From Blizzard's 3.2.1 notes.

Sixteen existing Uniques can now be made into Unique Charms, and six new ones can too. Patch

Newly craftable

Ae'grom's Schism, Eye of Baal, Gospel of the Devotee, Grasp of Shadow, Hand of Apotheosis, Hellhound's Sabatons, Infernal Homunculus, Rictus of Terror, Shard of Verathiel, Signet of Pelghain, The Basilisk, The Hemat Stone, The Mortacrux, The Third Blade, Thundergod's Blessing and Vox Omnium.

New Unique items that can be Charms

Arioc's Needle, Henri's Perquisition, In-Geom, Nemesis Bracers, Stone of Jordan and The Furnace, all part of the Legacy Unique set. The 3.2.2 notes fix a problem crafting Henri's Perquisition as a Charm.

Blizzard also fixed Cauldron set stacks resetting and tuned several class sets, below.

Class Charm sets named in the 3.2.1 notes

This is not a full list of every set. It is the sets Blizzard named in its Season 15 and earlier Talisman notes.

ClassSets named
BarbarianSescheron's Fury, Bul'Kathos' Pride
DruidStorm Shepherd's Call, Nafain's Bestiary, Rush of the Red Wolf Moon, Might of the Den Mother, Song of the Old Mountain
NecromancerPeace of the Black Shroud, Radamant's Desecration, Word of the Blood Binder, Rathma's Waking Touch
RogueNilfur's Narrow Eye, Applied Alchemy, Spellbound Steel
SorcererTirahj's Uncanny Insight, Breath of the Frozen Sea
SpiritbornRezoka's Rage, Balazan's Bite
PaladinHeaven's Radiant Fire, Cathan's Righteous Will
WarlockFlesh of Abaddon's (titled that way in the notes)

Blizzard's Druid note says the Druid Charm sets received quality-of-life changes and buffs, and that the redesigned Storm Shepherd's Call is a nerf compared with its previous version. In the build guides, the Spellbound Steel set (Rogue) gives access to all imbuements, and Rathma's Waking Touch (Necromancer) supports Army of the Dead.

Why builds reference the Talisman

Most current build guides name a Charm set and a Seal alongside gear, because set bonuses often tie to skill tags. Build cards on this site list the sets a guide relies on under "Defined by". For the full set list and bonus values, use a maintained source or check the item in game: set bonus numbers changed several times since launch.
