Three releases, one world
Base game Base game
Released June 2023. The base regions are Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, Dry Steppes, Kehjistan and Hawezar. Its story is Lilith's return; her defeat is what the expansions build on.
Vessel of Hatred Vessel of Hatred
Released October 2024. It adds the jungle region of Nahantu, the Spiritborn class, Mercenaries, Kurast Undercity and more. Blizzard says it reveals the events that set Mephisto's ambitions in motion. Any Lord of Hatred purchase unlocks it.
Lord of Hatred Lord of Hatred
Released April 27, 2026 (Pacific time). It adds the Skovos isles, the Paladin and Warlock, the Mephisto campaign, and War Plans, the Horadric Cube, the Talisman, Echoing Hatred and Fishing. It also carried the level 70 and skill tree updates for everyone.
Skovos and Temis
From Blizzard's Lord of Hatred page.
Skovos is the ancient birthplace of the firstborn civilization and the former home of Lilith and Inarius, now ruled by the Oracle and the Amazon Queen. Its volcanic west, forested east and the sunken lands between hold crumbling temples, waterlogged shores, towns, dungeons and monsters, including cultists and horrors from the sea. Official
Its capital, Temis, is designed as the endgame hub: after the campaign it becomes a streamlined place for everything you want to reach. Official Maxroll's guides place the War Plans table, the Horadric Cube, a Pit obelisk and the Echoing Hatred seer there. Tested
The Lord of Hatred story: Mephisto, the Prime Evil of Hatred, stirs again after Lilith's defeat and spreads corruption toward Skovos. Neyrelle struggles to contain him, and you must reach him before he can reach the Pools of Creation. Official
Fishing starts here too, with a quest from Shi Yugong on a dock on the coast. Fishing
Nahantu
Nahantu is the untamed jungle region of Vessel of Hatred and the home of the Spiritborn. Mercenaries you can recruit arrived with the expansion, and the Kurast Undercity opens once you progress that campaign. All of it is included when you buy Lord of Hatred. Vessel of Hatred

The Amazon is announced for 2027

- Gender lock: the first female-only class in Diablo IV.
- Weapons: the bow returns, and the javelin is a new weapon type for the game.
- Four archetypes: the Champion (sword and shield with buffs), the Skirmisher (javelin hit and run), the Ranger (precision archer) and the Commander (a general leading phalanxes of Valkyries).
- Design pillars: battle expertise, unrivaled athleticism and mythical magic.
